The shoes were created for recreational running in the Land of the Cherry Blossom, and they were created by a duo: Phil Knight - a passionate runner and Bill Bowerman - a jogging coach and propagator, later founders of Nike. Onitsuka Tiger Corsair 1183A357-100 sneakers are made of natural leather, complemented by details of synthetic leather. The interior is lined with textile material, while the heel is lined with synthetic leather. The sole on which the whole thing rests is made of double-density EVA foam in the middle part, while the outer layer is made of adhesive rubber.
