The product arrived bundled on three skids and was well boxed. Each of the boxes are heavy duty cardboard that has a wax surface, which helps them resist moisture. Each box contains (6) "flats" which measure about 23.5" w x 6" H each and include an additional 8" or so of brown metal flashing that is embedded in the stone.I suggest viewing the many on-line videos the company has produced to aid in installation. If you view the videos you will be in a good place to understand what is involved and what you need to do.One thing you need to add to your shopping list is a good quantity of stainless steel screws. The manufacturer suggests using stainless steel screws and these are not cheap. Home Depot sells these in 1 and 5 pound boxes. Also, it should be noted that there is a fair amount of cutting and/or grinding involved. You would do yourself a favor to have a small handheld grinder on hand. I used a 4" diamond blade on a 90-degree angled grinder and it worked really well. You can get a 4" diamond blade for under $10.Why all the grinding? Well, each piece of stone is not perfectly rectangular shaped and has goobers or excess spots of cement on one of more of the edges which is a perfectly understandable result of how these cement stone are poured and then removed from molds. If the factory decided to grind these imperfections off before they boxed them up, this would really be a killer DIY product as you truly could simply stack them with no additional prep. One other thing to be aware of is that the height of each piece of stone can vary by as much as 1/4", although 1/8" is more common. This means you will have some pieces that are 5-7/8" tall, some that are 6" tall and other than are 6-1/8" tall. If you place a stone that ius 5-7/8" tall next to one that is 6-1/8" tall you will have a fairly large gap to contend with on your next row. LessDrH 路 Review provided by Home DepotAll Reviews
