The eight-speed control system (five forward speeds and three reverse speeds) makes for a smooth and easily controlled ride. The 40-pound thrust X Series electric trolling motor comes with a three-blade propeller (9.1-inch diameter) for optimal performance. This transom mount motor is powered by a 12-volt deep cycle battery or marine battery (battery not included).
