The PUFP-CT-B by Lew Electric is a pop up power box designed to be installed in a countertop surface in dry or wet locations, they are ideal for kitchen islands, bars, restaurants, hotels, or anywhere that you need a kitchen certified power pop up. The top is real brass and creates a beautiful look to any kitchen. When you need access to your power simply push the button and your power pops up ready for you to plug into the outlets, when you are done press it shut till it closes. The power outlet is a decora 20 amp receptacle that is GFCI protected and features tamper resistant outlets, to install the outlet must be hardwired as it does not come with a corded plug. The pop up is IP44 rated for wet applications and is also splash rated. On the underside of the bezel there is a waterproof gasket that keeps water from entering from your countertop. The pop up only takes up 3 1/8 of space under your counter so it can be installed in almost any location. Use a pop up in a counter for quick access to power when a wall outlet is not possible and to keep dangerous cords hanging from kitchen counters. Installation is easy, to install cut your 4 1/16 x 4 1/16 hole in your countertop. From the underside of your counter install the included back box with construction adhesive for granite or quartz, and wood screws for a Formica or wood countertop. When installed run your wire into the rear knockout of the back box and connect your bare wires to the terminal block on the pop up, when finished push as much wire out from the box and the remaining push flat in the bottom of the box. Next, pop open the unit and with the provided 2 screws secure to the back box. Lastly, test the opening speed of the unit by pressing the button and holding till it pops up, to close press the button and push till it latches shut. If the opening speed needs to be adjusted use a Phillips screwdriver to adjust the speed of the pop up.
