The T800 is the most advanced FRS license-exempt two-way radio that Motorola has to offer. With both GPS and Bluetooth the T800 can be connected to your cell phone allowing for real-time location sharing and messaging whilst off-grid. GPS also allows for the recording of both tracks and statistics so you know where your radios have been at all times via the use of the Talkabout App that is available for IOS and Android. A relatively compact device the T800 stands at just 7.52 in height, 2.2 in width, 1.28 in depth whilst weighing in at just 0.3 lbs whilst the supplied rechargeable NiMH battery is attached. Alongside being supplied with two NiMH batteries you will also receive two belt clips, a Y-charger cable and 16 beacons alongside your two T800 radios. 22 Channels allow for sufficient communications between a small to medium sized group of people. A scanning channel can be programmed into one of the channels, this when selected will cycle through the programmed channels on the lookout for ongoing transmissions, once one has been found the channel will stop and listen in until the transmission is complete. Alongside having a scanning channel the T800 also has the capability to listen in to 2 channels at once via Dual Channel Monitor , of these two channels you are only capable of transmitting onto one but the second listen only channel is an ideal solution should you be looking to have a safety annoucement channel.
